The art of structure, function and the experience of a space inform Shelli Park's design philosphy. She moves easily within conceptual space, assimilating the client's input to arrive at a design that exemplifies a project's design program. Shelli is as focused on the details as the overall structure.

Continued study of the ever-developing world of architecture, new techniques, materials and technologies is a daily practice. Where possible, Shelli utilizes sustainable building practices.

Each CPD project is based on the development of the design program with the client as partner. Needs are assessed, desired aesthetics taken in, and conditions are catalogued. The goal is to create a design that feels like an extension of the client, while, also, seamlessly reflecting the creativity and vision of the architect.

Seahurst ADU

The Seahurst ADU is an addition to the client’s existing garage which is situated 20 yards up the hill from the high bank waterfront home. The design program was to create an efficient but comfortable two bedroom home for him and his teenage daughter that takes advantage of the water view.
